The chapter had an excellent ‘Mystery Ride’ to the CTL Cafe in Cirencester. We met up at Jack’s Hill Cafe on a chilly March morning. Mike was leading so he did the pre-ride briefing and then we were off.

The ride took us through 55 miles of Northants, Oxfordshire and the best of the Cotswolds. At the CTL cafe we had a chance to warm up, with food and a hot drink. We also reviewed their excellent collection of classic bikes.

On the way home, the weather wasn’t kind to us. It got a little damp and slippy on the way home. We all ended the ride cold, soaked and tired but even the weather did not dampen our spirits. The chapter is always at its best when we’re riding. Even in inclement weather.
