DESCRIPTION:Departing from Silverstone SRA at 10:30am. Colin leading\n\n\n\n will be leading a ride to The Maker Space Café/Workshop on Sunday 8th June. I found The Maker Space on the UK Biker Café’s website and not only does it have a café but also workshops for crafts\, mostly in the fabric/yarn areas. Check it out on their website www.themakerspace.co.uk  \n\n\n\n(it could be a possible LOH ride in the future) \n\n\n\nThe ride will depart from Silverstone Recreational Association\, NN12 8XA at 10.30 and will be a scenic route of A and B roads\, through Stowe\, Finmere\, Thame\, and other picturesque villages until we arrive at The Maker Space\, Nuffield RG9 5SJ.  \n\n\n\nA total of 56 miles. (there could be a fuel/leg stretch stop at the 40 mile (1 hour) mark if necessary. We should arrive at approx. 12.15 – Total 1 ¾ hours including the stop. \n\n\n\nI plan to stay at the café for approx. 1 ½ hours so depart at 13.45 \n\n\n\nThe return ride will take us through Wallingford\, Abingdon-on-Thames\, Cumnor and Middleton Stoney before finishing at Baynards Green services OX27 7SG \n\n\n\nThe return will be approx. 44 miles and take 1 ¼ hours so arriving at 15.00hrs \n\n\n\nTotal ride 100 miles \n\n\n\nRegards\, Colin \n\n\n\nMobile: 07771 744458

Please arrive between 09:30 & 09:45\n\n\n\nNew Members Experience Ride \n\n\n\nSunday 1st June \n\n\n\nThe Piston Club Stratford on Avon B49 6NQ \n\n\n\nTotal ride approx 3hrs and 100miles \n\n\n\nWe will be leaving The SRA\, Silverstone at 10:00hrs. Please arrive between 09:30 & 09:45\, with a full tank of fuel and ready for the pre-ride brief\, before we set off for a scenic route to the The Pison Club\, Alcester Rd\, Stratford-upon-Avon B49 6NQ.  \n\n\n\nThe ride there is 50miles and will take approx 1hr 30mins. We will take country lanes and dual carriageways\, at a gentle pace\, to allow any new Chapter members the opportunity to experience and learn the buddy-buddy system and 2nd-rider drop-offs.  \n\n\n\nThe venue is free to enter with food and drink available to purchase. We are not pre-booked\, as this is a popular venue\, so we are not able to secure a separate parking area for our chapter. There is plent of parking\, we may just end up separated. \n\n\n\nThere will be plenty of time for you to enjoy a bite to eat and have a look at all the other bikes that show up and Warwickshire Road Saftey Partnership will be on site from 08:00hrs – 13:00hrs too. \n\n\n\nWe will depart between 13:00hrs – 13:30hrs and do another 50-mile cross-country ride\, which will take approx 1hr 30mins and terminate at Gasoline Juice\, Weedon Bec. Gary leading\n\n\n\nNational Motorcycle Museum \n\n\n\nSunday May 25th 9.30am \n\n\n\nB92 0EJ \n\n\n\nOriginally this was to be Carls ride but as he was no longer able to attend I volunteered to lead as I have never visited before. We will leave McDonalds at 9.30am. The journey there is around 55miles and should take 1hr 35min. Parking is free and they offer storage facilities for helmets\, jackets etc\, also free. There are  admission charges as follows: \n\n\n\nAdult £17 \n\n\n\nSenior £15 \n\n\n\nGroup booking £12 (need 10+) \n\n\n\nPlease have a look at their website nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co.uk \n\n\n\nThis will give you a better idea on what to expect.
