Lee was named Ent24’s Hardest Working Comedian of the Year in 2019.  \n\n\n\nOpening the night will be Micky P Kerr who reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent in Series 12. He is a part-time primary school teacher who teaches in years 5 and 6\, and has lived in Leeds for the whole of his life. He described his act simply; ‘I just sing with a guitar and tell jokes’. \n\n\n\nSupport act is the entertaining Patrick Draper who has cemented his place on the UK comedy circuit with a mixed bag of deadpan jokes\, visual gags and songs. \n\n\n\nThe evening will be compered by the Mill’s resident MC\, Pete Teckman. \n\n\n\nOver 18s only. DESCRIPTION:Departing from Jack’s Hill Cafe at 10:30 am on Saturday 18th September. Martin leading\n\n\n\nThis is a ride of about 1 ½ hours (55 miles) to the Classic Motor Hub based at the historic site of RAF Bibury in the heart of the Cotswolds. Our ride will take us past the Rollright Stones\, so depending on numbers we may be able to pull over and take a peek before riding through Stow-on-the Wold and on to the Hub just outside Bibury. \n\n\n\nOnce there\, we can browse the cars for sale in their showroom (and browse their classic motoring themed gift shop that may be more in our price range!). \n\n\n\nThey now have a coffee shop\, so this ride is timed to be able to browse\, have lunch there and then there is a return ride leaving about 2pm or you are free to go off to explore the Cotswolds on your own. \n\n\n\nThe round-trip from Jack’s Hill is 110 miles\, so if you are doing the return ride\, please notify a road captain if you need a petrol stop. \n\n\n\nMartine leading\, Mikey & Becky tailing \n\n\n\n07866 363 784 \n\n\n\nmartine@garland.me.uk

This is due to the update below from Martin; \n\n\n\nBefore today’s ride 2 female members of the chapter asked to use the toilets at Jacks Hill. They were told they couldn’t as they didn’t have a meal ticket. To cut a long story short I had a short chat with the manageress to confirm that toilets couldn’t be used without a meal voucher. She confirmed this and said if we chose to go elsewhere it didn’t bother her. I had been informed previously that she wasn’t very bike friendly To that end I will be using MCDONALDS in TOWCESTER as the start point for the ride to Reading H-D on SATURDAY 11th September.

DESCRIPTION:Departing from Jack’s Hill Cafe at 10am on Sunday 5th September. Colin leading\n\n\n\nI will be leading a ride to The Hellfire Caves\, Wycombe\, HP14 3AH on Sunday 5th September2021\, leaving Jacks Hill Café at 10.00 \n\n\n\nThe ride there will be approx. 50 miles and we should arrive around 11.30. Once there you can purchase a ticket for a self-guided tour of the caves for £8.50 per adult\, or £7.00 for over 60’s or a National Trust member. For those not wishing to explore the caves they can spend some time in the Courtyard\, gift shop or café. The tour should take approx. 45 – 60 minutes. You can then buy lunch at the onsite café before we depart at 1.30 for a return ride of approx. 35 miles to the Hunters Farm Services\, MK17 9DN on the A5\, south of Milton Keynes\, where the ride will finish. DESCRIPTION:Departing from Jack’s Hill Cafe on Sunday 29th August.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy not come and join us for a ride over to Shropshire and Daniel’s Water Mill\, situated right underneath the Severn Valley Railway \n\n\n\nThe route in total will be just under 150 miles from Jacks to the last stop at Tamworth Services (A5/M42). Our route will be to Banbury and pick up M40 north. Coming off for Stratford we head for Worcester (on the A46 then A422)andstopattheShellservicesontheA4440NunneryWayNunneryPark\,WorcesterWR40SX. After \n\n\n\nrefreshments\, fuel and toilets\, we head towards Kidderminster and turn off going through Stourbridge on Severn. From here it’s on to Bewdley and then through the Wyre Forest taking a scenic route along the Severn Valley Railway route – arriving at our Destination – Daniel’s Mill just south of Bridgenorth WV16 5JL \n\n\n\nThe mill and Rosalie’s tea room are situated in a beautiful setting under a viaduct of the Severn Valley Railway. If we time it right we may get one or two steam trains go overhead. \n\n\n\nI have booked us in to the tea room for lunch – fairly simple – cream teas\, cakes\, sandwiches\, bacon rolls\, pork or ploughmans pie\, ice cream etc. \n\n\n\nI have also arranged a tour of the mill. It is a working mill but for our visit it may not be working as they have yet to fix some flood damage to the exterior walls. Cost will be about £4-5. \n\n\n\nYou can also walk up into the woods the other side of the viaduct. \n\n\n\nThe route back will via the A454 Bridgenorth to Wolverhampton – a nice open road – then following the signs for Cannock it’s the A460 until we meet the A5. I will stop at Tamworth services B77 5PS for fuel and comfort stop and effectively end the ride there as some may wish to return home down M42/M40 or continue down the A5. \n\n\n\nFinally\, this ride require decent weather – therefore if the forecast is poor for the day I will postpone. DESCRIPTION:The plan so far is to set off from Jacks at 9.30am and ride a route up to Chatsworth where we will firstly visit the estate farm shop where you could stock up on food then return to the estate to go and sit by the river and eat it. If there is time we may visit Harleyworld Chesterfield before a direct run home down the M1. This will be a busy day and will be weather dependant so I may have to amend or cancel. as the time approaches. I am trying to wangle free parking but everyone is skint so we may have to pay a small amount.
