If you have already messaged or you are interested and would like the chance to attend please click ‘coming’ then i will sort numbers on a first come first served basis and get back to you.The amount to pay (NOT YET) is £20 (NON REFUNDABLE unless I can sell your slot) Please wait for payment details!There will be both classroom discussion about riding\, speed\, cornering etc and a ride out where an instructor will follow and asses your riding technique\, then offer constructive criticism (or praise) about your riding. The instructors are not there to belittle you\, just help and pass on tips to assist your riding. The day can be very informative\, interesting and helpful. You will need to bring your own lunch but tea and coffee will be provided. Your bikes will need to be taxed\, insured and legal and you will need to hold a full licence

SUMMARY:Hogs and Haggis Ride
DESCRIPTION:Hogs and Haggis ride will leave Rugby Truckstop at 9.00am on Friday 28th June 2024 and return home on Monday 1st July.The Friday will be a longish day and take in The Angel of the North and Gateshead HD before ending at Edinburgh Premier inn.The next two days will be travelling around Scotland visiting Edinburgh HD\, The Falkirk wheel\, The Kelpies\, The Davidson Heritage site\, Balmoral\, the scenic A93\, Pitlochry\, Loch Tay and Loch Lomond\, stopping in firstly Aberdeen then Dumbarton before riding home on the Monday via Gretna Green. Hotels will be all Premier Inns and you will be required to book your own rooms. Mid-day meals will be very much “on the hoof” as we ride and evening meals will be a personal choice. I haven’t made any group bookings so you can eat where and when you want. The ride will cover over 1000 miles over the three days and will require riders to travel at the speed limit on motorways and be responsible for their fellow rider behind (although drops will be included if required once off motorways).All hotel booking details and further information can be found on the round robin email sent out by our secretary. DESCRIPTION:Departing from Towcester McDonalds at 6pm\n\n\n\nColin will be leading a ride to this year’s Cassington Bike Night on Monday\, 24th June\, leaving McDonald’s (A43) at 6pm.The route is approximately 30 miles there and 45 minutes. Once we arrive in the village we will be in the hands of the organisers\, who will park us where available. When we did this ride a number of years ago we were with a large group of bikes in a park/grass area so you may wish to take something to place under your side stand so as not to dunk into the ground.People can depart when they wish and find their own way home or tag on with me for the return trip. I will probably leave at 9pm and return to Baynard’s Green services where the ride will finish. OX27 7SGThe entire route is approx. 50 miles so I am not planning a fuel stop.
