DESCRIPTION:Leaving from Towcester McDonalds at 09:30am\n\n\n\nI will be leading a ride to join the Milton Keynes Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride on Sunday 19th May\, leaving McDonald’s Towcester at 09.30 We will arrive at the start point\, Milton Keynes Open University East car park\, Walton Hall\, MK7 6AA for 10.00 (17 miles). Once there we will be in the hands of the local DGR team who will lead us on a 24 mile ride through Aspley Guise\, Cranfield\, Wooton\, Bromham and Clapham and will finish at Brewpoint\, Cut Throat Lane\, Fairhill\, Bedford\, MK41 7FY where the ride will finish and you can make your own way home whenever you please. There will be live music\, food vendors\, photo booths\, a grooming station\, merch stands and much more. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is in aid of promoting (worldwide)\, awareness of prostate cancer and mental health. It is a day to dress (if you wish to)\, in dapper clothing\, tweed\, shirts and ties\, suits\, etc and is open for both men and women. DESCRIPTION:Every year in mid May\, tumultuous sounds of V-twins ring out in glorious Filey in North East Yorkshire. The annual St Leger Iron Horse rally has become the early-season destination for getting in a summer party mood. Held at the Blue Dolphin Holiday Park situated on the coast in a spectacular clifftop location\, attendees can take advantage of sumptuous fully fitted self-contained mobile homes or camp on one of the many tent or caravan pitches – most with electric hook up. Food is on offer aplenty in the on-site restaurants\, chippie\, burger bar\, pizza parlour or mini market \n\n\n\nAlways a themed event where everyone is invited to join in\, a full program of ride outs\, events and outstanding entertainment is available. Yorkshire has some of the best uncluttered roads on offer in the UK\, so what better than to “rumble” over them there Yorkshire Wolds on one of our organised ride outs for glorious fish\, chip and peas with bread and butter and a mug of tea?  Saturday night is “Fancy Dress” party night. It covers all aspects of how to respond to an incident involving bikers and general first aid and incident management. Although it’s not a subject we wish to dwell on\, the knowledge handed out by the experienced first responders is vital for those of us who ride in groups. I’m hoping that at least all committee members and road captains will attend but also as many members as possible because\, believe me\, the information is invaluable and life potentially saving.So book the date\, May 8th\, and come along and support the fire and rescue team who do this voluntary for no reward.

DESCRIPTION:Funhouse Comedy is back at the Walnut Tree Inn\, Blisworth on Thursday March 28th for more fun and laughter. \n\n\n\nTopping the bill is the engagingly affable Steve Day\, who has been supporting Gary Delaney on tour. Describing himself as Britain’s only deaf comedian\, his real-life observations are funny\, frank and thought-provoking. His unassuming charm and natural wit keep his audiences totally absorbed and wanting for more. \n\n\n\nOpening the night will be Mandy Muden the only woman ever to combine comedy and magic on the UK comedy circuit. She has appeared on numerous TV programmes including most recently ITV’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ where the judges loved her and gave her a standing ovation\, taking her through to the semi-finals; as well as ‘Celebrity Come Dine With Me’ and ‘The World’s Greatest Magic’\, in 2023 she also made the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent. DESCRIPTION:Leaving McDonalds at 10:00 am \n\n\n\nWe have had a request to fulfil a lady’s dream to have a ride on a Harley\, wearing a fringed jacket \n\n\n\nGloria\, lost her husband last year and her sister 3 months later. Her family live down South but contacted our Gloria to see what we can do as their mum ( Gloria) lives near Rugby and it’s her 80th birthday The plan is to rock up\, give her a jacket and helmet and Simon will have her as a pillion for a 35 mile circular route\, led by me \n\n\n\nOn return to her house in Bilton her family will have lots of tea \, coffee \, digestives and chocy hob hobs.
