Towcester Loop

recently invested in a copy of Simon Weir’s Bikers Britain, a comprehensive guide to some of the best roads around the country. Ride 23 stood out as one I thought would suit the chapter namely “Towcester Loop”. The plan is to meet at Towcester McDonalds and leave at 10.30 am. The ride will take in Middleton Cheney, Chipping Warden, skirt around Daventry, Long Buckby, West Haddon where we will join the A5 heading North to Hinkley. Here we plan a refreshment stop at the Triumph museum which is Free so time for a browse and cup of coffee. When we have had enough we shall head South via Lutterworth, Husbands Bosworth, church Brampton making our way back towards Towcester where the ride will end.
Total mileage is approx 116 miles so no planned fuel stop unless a request is put in while we are in Hinkley.
