Ride the Nene

This ride will leave THE SHELL PETROL STATIONS IN WEEDON ON THE A5 (NN7 4PX) AT 9.00am
The idea is to roughly follow the course of the river Nene from nearly its source to nearly its end where it enters the wash. It’s a bit of fun travelling down A roads, B roads and narrow lanes trying to stay as close as possible to the river and culminating at a cafe Nr the estuary where I’m planning for us to have Sunday Lunch (£15ish)
I will buy the lunch for the first person to tell me how many times we cross the river. It’s a long day, 4hrs there including stops and 2.5hrs back plus lunch, so about an 8hr day (like we used to do). I will need names if you intend to eat. I believe other food is available as well if you don’t want a roast.
