Well here we are on the first weekend of the Landmark Challenge and the weather is gorgeous, who would believe it.

I ticked off my first 2 landmarks today.  Highgrove (B5 on the spreadsheet) and The Cat & Custard Pot (C2).

Wednesday 26th April and it's still cold!  But never mind - Jacquie M and I rode down to Abingdon and met up with Kim and we all rode to Binsey for Jacqui and I to tick off St Frideswide's well at the church at Binsey (F2 on the landmark challenge).  It was a lovely, interesting place with a gorgeous little lane to ride down to get to it.

Then we went on to the Bus museum (G5 on LMC) and lastly went for lunch at Aston Potteries - highly recommended.

This pic attached is of me down the steps to the well at Binsey.  Seems I can only add one photo per comment 🙁

A glorious day on Sunday 7th and a few of us went to Ely.  Here I am outside St Etheldreda's church F5 on the LMC
