Hogs and Haggis ride will leave Rugby Truckstop at 9.00am on Friday 28th June 2024 and return home on Monday 1st July.
The Friday will be a longish day and take in The Angel of the North and Gateshead HD before ending at Edinburgh Premier inn.
The next two days will be travelling around Scotland visiting Edinburgh HD, The Falkirk wheel, The Kelpies, The Davidson Heritage site, Balmoral, the scenic A93, Pitlochry, Loch Tay and Loch Lomond, stopping in firstly Aberdeen then Dumbarton before riding home on the Monday via Gretna Green. Hotels will be all Premier Inns and you will be required to book your own rooms. Mid-day meals will be very much “on the hoof” as we ride and evening meals will be a personal choice. I haven’t made any group bookings so you can eat where and when you want. 
The ride will cover over 1000 miles over the three days and will require riders to travel at the speed limit on motorways and be responsible for their fellow rider behind (although drops will be included if required once off motorways).
All hotel booking details and further information can be found on the round robin email sent out by our secretary. Anyone who cannot access this should contact myself (mike-groundhog@hotmail.co.uk) you will need to book early as Scotland becomes popular during the summer and rooms can be scarce.
